Wall Cabinet Workshop by Southwest School of Woodworking

In this workshop, Doug will take you through the process of making a Krenov-style (James Krenov, 1920 – 2009, Wiki) wall cabinet.

You keep your project, and you have a choice to make the cabinet in Cherry hardwood with a figured Cherry panel or Walnut with a Birdseye Maple panel. 

The upper section has a single pane of glass.  

In two and a half days the student will complete this beautiful cabinet that will not only add to your skills but will result in a project you will be proud of.

  • Laying out the lumber
  • Choosing boards for grain patterns
  • Stock preparation
  • Finessing joinery
  • Veneering
  • Assembly
  • Surface preparation for finishing
