Cumaru // Dipteryx micrantha
A strong, tough, resilient wood that fits the bill for a dark or medium dark project. Good resistance to insect attack and weather. Cumaru is extraordinarily stable and also provides a moderate blunting effect on cutters and blades. Accepts varnish satisfactorily, and will make some very robust furniture.![color of Cumaru](graphics/icons/CTGY/ColorPalette.png)
