Learn Finishing Skills in 4 Evening Sessions

Finishing is one of the most mysterious aspects of woodworking. Many novices will spend a lot of time making their project only to rush through the finishing process and end up with a result that is less than adequate. It is said “that you can always tell a piece that is done by an amateur by the quality of the finish”.

In this course, Master Finisher, Rhonda Forsha, will lead you though the fundamentals of finishing and get you on your way to developing this important skill.

This class takes place in 3-hour sessions over the course of four evening sessions, 6:00 – 9:00 pm

Everything Is Included:

  • Surface preparation
  • Repairing defects
  • Basic color theory
  • Using stain and dyes
  • Stain and glaze
  • Wiping, brushing and spraying clear coats
  • Touching up defects after finishing
  • Painted finishes
  • You will produce several finish samples and a sanding block
  • Friendly, expert instruction
