    Boards fur mantle

I bought these boards to make a mantel and to Stain it the same color as my new floors in my mid century.. The boards came quickly. The only problem was 2 were beautiful and the other two one had a huge knot in it even though it said it was best and one had two drill holes in it! So I used the two beautiful pieces for the top and piece facing out the knoted piece for the bottom and the drilled holes piece for the side. It worked out but I wasn't happy about the quality of 2/4 boards. Two were gorgeous the other two not! Weird.

The wood was very nice. Good grain and I'm very satisfied with the product.
