I received a beautiful piece of alder for a fireplace mantel project. It was very well wrapped and delivered quickly. I would definitely order here again. It was very nice to have a broad selection of choices available when making my selection.

Thanks for catching my error in measurement prior to shipping. The wood was great quality. When I opened the box a bright light protruded from inside the box and a loud harmonious sound came out...LLLLLAAAAAAA!!! It was truly amazing !

Great pieces of wood. I didn't expect much from Alder, having limited experience with it in the past and I originally intended to cover them with a prettier veneer. But once I got the blanks and looked at the pretty grain figure, I decided to use them as is. No complaints and it was a great decision!

While Alder is typically ordinary in appearance, this stock is actually causing me to pause before painting it. It has very nice grain patterns. The lumber was dimensionally accurate and arrived very promptly (no long lead times) with very little damage from shipping. I also appreciated the help I received with dimensional board feet and yield. My order of Alder will produce two very fine electric guitar bodies.
