All in all this was a very nice piece. I was a bit disappointed in the grain, however I'm not all that familiar with zebra wood and it's normal grain structure. I haven't made up my mind as to what I will use it for I was hoping the grain would inspire some creative thinking. I would certainly order it again.

Good wood

Very little contrast between light and dark. The piece I received looked like a piece of finished oak. I planned on using this for some nice dado inserts on a jewelry box but I am having second thoughts as the pattern was not what I was expecting. I have seen some quality zebrawood in the past and this looks absolutely nothing like it.

When I ordered my piece of 4/4 zebrawood, I must admit I was a tad worried that I wasn't going to like the figure (based on never having seen the actual piece prior). Once I got it in the mail I was very pleasantly delighted to find not only was it great figuring but it was one of the finest pieces I had ever seen. The piece is now part of a guitar top & it looks amazing! I would use woodworkers source again & recommend it to all.

The wood received for my project was of outstanding quality, straight boards, all of it usable.
