There are a few spots in these board that will make a huge part of them useless for what I am doing due to knots and the banding used to keep them together on the pallet. So I will be losing a fair amount of lumber due to them. \n\nI know its hard to pick lumber for someone so this is kind of to be expected.

There are a few spots in these board that will make a huge part of them useless for what I am doing due to knots and the banding used to keep them together on the pallet. The piece of wood I received was very well packaged and delivered exactly as expected and on time. There is one flaw in the board that will reduce the overall amount of usability. There is a small circular knot about 6 inches from one end that actually is an open hole almost clear through the board. Other than that I am very pleased with the selection that was made on my behalf.

It was a fine hunk of wood at first glance. Then I turned it over and noticed that about 5 inches of area at one end was not fully planed flat. There was a full section there that was thinner than the entire piece otherwise. After realizing that this was not going to affect my project and I started getting in to cutting down the pieces I needed, I also noticed that the same end had apparently been placed in a planar on both sides as it had a clear dip on the top and bottom while the rest of the surfaces were planed nice and flat. It was still a beautiful piece of wood but it was just not as exact as I would have hoped for.
