    Why Choose Black Walnut?

One of the most enjoyed American hardwoods for its fine-yet-open grain, unique patterns, and bold dark color. Walnut is easy to cut, shape and sand, and the wood takes on an amazing look with a clear finish.

You're in excellent hands with these cutting board strips, expertly cut from premium kiln-dried lumber. They come prepped and ready for you to rip, cut, and arrange into beautiful color combinations and patterns, allowing you to craft your own custom, handcrafted cutting board with ease.

    Imperfect. There will be waste

Not really useable for cutting boards as-is. I bought the 1 3/4 and one of the sticks had an ugly knot close to one end. I can hide that side, but it throws off the grain.

    Black Walnut

I ordered 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 boards to make it easier for me to make cutting board, not having planer or jointer. The boards varied size. Thats the reason for 4 stars. Being new to woodworking maybe I was expecting everything to be perfect, Other then that the wood looks good and I would recommend it .
