I didn't order enough, but it's OK because I had nothing in mind to make out of it!

I was very pleased with the board that I received. It's just a shame that it took a month to get it!

I received very nice boards, though slightly duller than my last order of Purpleheart. Every order I've placed has arrived in great shape, very well packed.

I make bowls and this is my first experience with this wood. First it is stunning. The color is just amazing. When using the table saw or router it is imperative that you wear a mask. Just like walnut it is a fine powder and you must take precautions.

Doesn't quite work as nice as cherry or walnut does, but those ain't purple neither. I made a lot of stuff with purplehart. and I keep doing it still. I like it.

One of my favorite woods. It's not all that nice to work with as it kind of burns easy and it's coarse grained which causes some splinters. But there's something about the way it looks all polished up that gets me to look past its workability shortcomings.
