Very good quality

I have to admit, I was pretty nervous to be ordering lumber sight unseen. I had been purchasing from the big box stores and the lumber was so abysmal. I could't possibly be happier with my purchase. Beautiful boards and I am excited to start working with it.

excellent quality just as ordered flat boards with no twist at all. All of the lumber was top grade with only a minimum of surface defects (e.g. knots or gaps) Very pleased with the products. Now if we could just lower those shippimg costs

This is as good as poplar can be. Clear grain, and 100% usable. Perfectly sized for the four identical pieces that it will produce. Amazing how well this was selected. Woodworkers Source has already been recommended to friends.

The 80bf of popular I received was very nice and consistent. Having been a long term customer, the pricey shipping cost took my breath away.

Received Lumber in good condition. Packaging was only slightly torn. Ordered 40BF that had only 1 knot in 1 board. This caused me no trouble at all. I am well pleased with this order and will order again.

Along with this purchase of 80 Ft of poplar, I also bought 130 Ft of soft maple and red oak -- online, sight unseen. I was completely satisfied with the maple and oak - see my reviews. But my experience with this poplar is much different. First - the good. Communication has been excellent. Packaging was well done, and delivery was very fast. Square footage was right on. The grain pattern and color is pretty good and waste will be under 10%. Now the not-so-good. I bought this for use as painted faceframe, door stile and rail, and drawer front stock. Despite allowing two weeks for acclimation, of the 25 or so boards I got, only 6 will be acceptable for my use. All of the other boards are so badly warped that they cannot be used as door frames or drawer fronts. Maybe I should have expected this of 4/4 S2S poplar sourced from AZ. I can salvage enough of this stock for the faceframes, but will have to substitute locally available clear pine for the rest of my project.
