I ordered some good old fashioned hard maple for a project with my daughter. The wood came as advertised with just a few minor knot holes and real rough spots that took a little more work. Overall very satisfied.

Very hard and dense maple perfect for fret boards. Extremely stable and nice color variation plus workability and fine sanding made fret boards perfectly level .

WS staff picked out some nice with good grain pattern 4/4 Country Hard Maple. I was thankful that they sent me some nice pieces. Look forward on using it for a work bench project for a friend. WS staff also packaged all the maple lumber pieces safely and securely and they arrived in a timely fashion.

I received 37 bf. of very prime boards, I requested 8"+ wide and that is what I got, each and every board was very straight, extremly nice grain pattern, I have never had such nice lumber sent right to my door- Thanks Again !!

Wood arrived in good condition. The material was of good quality, but had some "hit or miss" planing defects and a couple of small end splits (not a problem for me). Color of the material will provide some interesting contrasts on small boxes.

The wood is fantastic, feels and smells wonderful. Looks beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The best part was the customer service from woodworkers source, the nice additional touch they add to your order. They make opening and reading the items with your order fun.

Love the mix of heartwood and sapwood. Only wish it were available in 8/4!

As advertised. Some heart brown. Mostly F&S. Happy.

Interesting grain patterns but 3 of 5 boards had huge knots, areas where the wood wasn't planed leaving lots of waste. To call this hand picked is hard to imagine. I feel like I was given the discards to see what I could do with it. Won't try this again!

I've used Woodworkers Source several times and have usually been very pleased. This hard country maple looks very good, but most of it I got on my order was warped and I can't use it for the intended project. The planer appeared to have chewed up the middle part of a long section also on one of the boards. I'm attempting a "warped" version of the project in hopes to come up with something unique... Still a big fan of Woodworkers Source :)

A lot of unusable wood was sent with this order. This was the first time I was not happy with the wood sent to me. A lot of saw dust was made to get straight useable material.

I was frist interested because of the price. (I hate the cheap word but that's what got my attension.) After reading the description it seemed like something I would like to try so I ordered some. I was very pleased with what I got. The selection they sent was great. So far I have just started one small project with it but I think it is going to look wonderful. I believe I will be getting more.

Nice selection. Wider boards than I expected, which was great. Some brown, which I wanted, mostly on one side.

It was very fine quality and will order again soon. Have been making signs on cnc router

Received my order of 40 bf of this wood andd was really impressed. Great stuff especially for the money. I like the color variety, think I'll use it again on a desk.

Pretty pleased with this wood. Boards were straight, although I can't say they were clear because this is rustic stuff. ha! Made my kitchen cabinets with this wood, came out beautiful and economical. Thanks for the good selection.
