Review for 4/4 Wenge Shorts Pack 24" - Select Count & Size

My pieces were just over 4” wide and near perfectly flat, practically no sanding or planing was needed to use em.

Great product.

Review for 1/8" Baltic Birch Pre-Cut Plywood Pack (Choose Your Size)

Very few problems. Sometimes a cut goes through a knot in the center layer and doesn't go all the way through.

3/4", 20x60 (3pc) Pack

Review for 3/4" Baltic Birch Pre-Cut Plywood Pack (Choose Your Size)

Given my experience with their shipper in my region (FedEx) I was skeptical that given its size and weight it would arrive intact One panel's veneer was lightly marred during shipping, but is otherwise perfect For me this was a test purchase to see how the process would work or if it would even be feasible in my region with what I consider to be a delicate and bulky option before ordering what I want for various projects I am quite pleased

Natural Hickory Lumber

Review for 3/4" Natural Hickory PRE-CUT Pack, 4 Boards (Choose Your Size)

I’ve been a “Woodworkers Source” customer since 2009, I’ve received nothing but TOP QUALITY lumber (except when UPS mishandled several items, Canary-wood, Figured Bubinga , other items) BUT WWS has ALWAYS made it right. Hickory is one of my Favorite species to build with, HARD, easy to shape (Sharp Blades and Bits are a MUST) I always recommend WWS to Everyone who loves HIGH QUALITY lumber. When glueing up Hickory, tight fits, use a pin nailer to allow the glue to thoroughly set & dry. I was diagnosed with stage 3 RA in 2011, My projects take a little longer, but I’m still creating “Art” and every species I’ve ever received from WWS has been Top Notch. Thanks to ALL the employees for helping this old Woodworker keep my

Difficult for my DeWalt DW735 planer to handle

Review for Roasted Ash 4/4 Lumber

I love the way this lumber cuts on the table saw and miter saw. I also love the appearance after finishing with either Clark's Cutting Board Oil or Tung Oil! It looks and feels great. \r\n\r\nI purchased a bunch to make small trays as holiday gifts, and to use for face frames, stiles, and rails for a set of upscale shop cabinets I'm building. I had Woodworkers Source give me a straight line rip on one edge for easy ripping and cross cutting (I don't have a jointer). When I got to planing, I found that roasted ash doesn't produce the chips and shavings that most other woods I've planed produce. Instead, much of the removed material gets pulverized to a fine powder that coats the rollers in my planer and prevents the board from feeding. To stay on schedule, I had to use a thinner scrap of maple board to push the stock through the planer.
