I've ordered quite a few times from WW Source; the convenience is the primary reason. What I have found is that orders are carefully selected, milled and shipped in a reasonable period of time. This order of 4/4 walnut was all 20mm in thickness and consistent width. Slight bowing in several pieces resulted in a final milled thickness of 17mm. There were minimal defects, no problem knots, minimal shipping damage but grain pattern was at best blah.\r\nSo:\r\nConvenience A\r\nProduct structural quality A-\r\nShipping B+\r\nAesthetics/grain C\r\n\r\nI have photos of these but found no way to include them with this evaluation. Review for 4/4 Padauk African Lumber Pack - Select Count & Size
Some minor defects / marks when they were milled. Snipe marks at the end and long vertical lines that were probably from a chipped jointer blade. Out of the 4 boards I got, I only noticed a very small knot hole in one of them. A couple boards had a pronounced bow in the middle and 1 had a slight twist in it. The color was really good and mostly consistent except for one. 3 were a nice red but the 4th had a significant amount of gray in the face grain which made it stand out, but the board itself was still red though. I plan on using these for accent strips in edge grain cutting boards so most of these things will not hinder me. Overall I'm pretty happy with my purchase and shipping was fast.

I like the size of the pieces; however, you need to make sure to specify if you want light or dark pieces of mdf. They will send you both colors if you do not specify. If you are making things you want to be the same color, this could be a problem. Additionally, if any pieces are damaged, you do not get a refund or discount on those pieces. But overall, they do ship quickly, and pieces are true to size. This is very important as they fit my laser machine perfectly. With the product I am currently making, this mdf has been great to use.

the bamboo market offers product in two color tones. Dark, sometimes called "caramelized", and lite "more usual". In my own mind, I expected to reseve the liter color tone that would better match the rest of my remodel motif. I suppose the photo shown on the Woodworkers web sight is close enough either way, but you can't relay on computer images for color correctness when your mind is correcting in your favor. I would liked to have known in text form... I guess I'll make do... otherwise, well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. 3/4" mesures 3/4". That's good, cuz I cut my dado's before delivery. Shipping took longer than my patience.

Review for 4/4 Purple Heart Lumber Pack - Select Count & Size
This is interesting wood. The smell is a bit off putting. A little like fresh cut oak, but more pungent. I would recommend air drying outside. It has a tendency to warp so be sure to stack it evenly. Working it is a tad difficult. Planing, nope, not with a hand plane. Sawing, use a table saw, save your hand saw blades. Scrolling, boost your speed to get a nice no burn cut, otherwise it’s smoking. I cut my knuckle on a cut edge not because of splinters but because it was such a fine edge cut. Sanding and polishing. Here is where all the hard work pays off. This polishes to a glass smooth finish with little effort. It will clog your sandpaper at first but is good after the first couple of grits. All in all I like it. It is interesting and is a nice contrast to other woods. Oh, use a dust mask because its allergic properties are pretty bad. Woodworker’s Source, you guys are the best. Cheers!

Review for 4/4 Alder Knotty Lumber Pack - Select Count & Size
I bought 6 pcs 46" and 6 pcs 36". Made a coffee table and used probably 1/3 of total or less. \r\n\r\nOverall, these were fine and I'd buy them again. Here are three things to note:\r\n\r\n1. The boards were advertised as 4"+ and almost all were actually closer to 5". However, two narrowed toward the ends and only about 3" of width was usable for the entire length. I ended up with slightly less than 24" of usable width after ripping the rough edges (24" should have been the minimum I got) for the 46" inch boards.\r\n2. These boards were one inch thick, not 13/16" as advertised. While this may be a good thing, I had to find a way to get them planed down to 3/4 without a planer.\r\n3. All the boards were really straight and looked better than I was expecting.

When the description says 5+ inches wide, it seems to mean 5-1/4 to 5-3/8, which meets the description. All the boards came with a good square edge on one side (which I suppose is why the "surface one edge" block is greyed out). One of the 72" boards had a slight twist, but in 8/4 lumber that can be worked out in my project, the other two were great.

I have bought Baltic Birch Plywood from Woodworkers Source and other vendors before. No matter where you get it there are always some issues with warping because it's so thin. However, this batch was especially problematic. The cost is reasonable but expect that not all pieces will be usable in your laser cutter. I used hold-down pins in my Glowforge but still had pieces that just wouldn't work.

I've not yet used this board. It will be primarily for a fretboard. The only but of criticism that I have at this time is that it would be good if more paraffin/end grain sealer were applied by WWS. I like in a climate with much higher RH than the WWS warehouse so, I did see some checking as the wood acclimated. \n\nHonestly, it was a trio of issues that led to this, with the largest responsibility falling on my shoulders for not thinking to beef up the end-grain seal, as well as a major heatwave hitting just as the wood was delivered, causing far more stress than it would have seen otherwise.\n\nWill almost definitely buy again, though, I am searching for more domestics that can take this role.

The sample that I received was very orange, but it will work ok for our projects. We used padauk before but it was more red and worked beautifully as an accent. We use small pieces of wood to inlay crosses, boxes and frames. We are not a business, it's a hobby and we use mostly reclaimed wood. We donate most of our work to our local hospital gift shop, which is a nonprofit.

I bought 6 boards to make a sofa /console table quickly and without resurfacing. They were delivered cross-country in under a week. The boards are not as perfect as I had hoped for the cost. There are some blemishes but no knots. The boards are not very consistent from board to board, with some discoloration and one of them has distinct tiger eyes which will not look good in the panel glue up. The faces are very smooth but of course will still require final smoothing plane before finishing. They are also not entirely straight; there was over 1/4" of bow in a couple of them. Annoyingly there were three stickers on the faces of each board which didn't peel off cleanly. This defeated the purpose of paying a premium for ready-to-use boards, and is actually much worse than the big box store where at least they staple a label on the end of the board. So be ready to spend some time cleaning off the stickers. Overall I wish I had just gone to the big box store and bought them; honestly it's about the same quality and would have been easier and cheaper to deal with.

Boards arrived in good shape. One of them had a small dent, in a shape as if it was hit against the corner of something, I assumed this happened in the shipping process. That was not a big deal. The only reason I did not give five stars is that the oil had come loose and leaked out on to a few of the boards and soaked one corner of the cardboard a bit. It was not a significant amount of oil, not enough to ask for a return and wait on a new package, but enough to be an annoyance and wish that it didn't happen. This was a perfect amount of wood to make a decent size cutting board but I am going to order more wood to make a bigger one and a few as gifts.

The two long pieces of lumber looked great and had rich color with very little blemishes. The one side planed was a nice service which makes my work a little easier. All I had to do was to cut a very thin slice off the other side. There was a 5 inch crack at one end of one of the boards and I was able to minimize the crack with epoxy. Maybe the wood shrunk?

The maple squares came in good condition, some shipping damage, but nothing bad enough to warrant a real complaint, a little finishing will clean them up. They are very well finished, straight, and should need minimal work to join.\n\nShipping could be better to protect the product, but honestly its wood. Even if I go to a lumber yard down the street not every piece will be prime. If the boxes could be stronger (mine seemed to have popped open slightly in shipping) I'd give 5 stars. I plan on ordering some more in the future and would recommend. I'm just getting started in wood working and have limited power tools for processing raw lumber. As a first time buyer from Woodworkers Source I was extremely pleased with the quality of the Cherry Veneered plywood, it is beautiful. On a personal note I should have put a little more thought into what I purchased as these pieces are intended for two floating shelves and I was surprised on the weight of each piece as the self itself is going to be extremely heavy. I wish I had ordered 1/2" thickness instead of the 3/4" thickness as it would have cut the weight by 33%. The shelves will be 48" width and 20" in depth so I am going to have to weld together fairly sturdy metal supports to compensate for the weight. If I can I will attach a photo after I have completed the shelf units.

I will have to use those pieces to set my dado stack and play with different router bits, but was hoping to have enough left over for a new nightstand for my better half.

I'll have to cut that one down, plane/join it flat, and use it as a shelf or something. The others are mostly flat, less than 1/4" of bow along the 6' length. All of them will need run through the joiner to achieve perfect straightness. I should end up with 1/2" straight and flat boards when finished, which works out great for me.\\n\\n3 boards have large knots, but only on one face of the board. I can probably hide the knots on this project, assuming they don't tear out in the planar, and the cathedrals on the opposite side are attractive. None of the boards have twist, which is great.\\n\\nAll the peices have nice grain and figure. They are all dimensioned to the same size. 3/4" x 5.5" x 6'.\\n\\nPackaging was good and shipping was reasonably fast. Only 1 board had a dent from shipping, and I think I can iron it out.\\n\\nAll in all, I'm happy with the product and couldn't really expect much better. Thanks guys!

The veneer is great but I had issues to keep it from bubbling as it dried. I covered a large (8 foot by 3 foot) closet door which is basically hollow. I brushed on Titebond 2 woodglue and rolled the veneer onto it at which point it was smooth and flat. I placed weight on the entire length of the door with unopened boxes of hard wood floor (maybe 35 lbs a box) and on the edges I clamped on pieces of hardwood so the entire edge of the door was clamped tight. After 24 hours I removed the clamps and weight from it. The veneer still looks good but the surface did bubble all over the door - almost like it soaked in the glue as if it got wet. I have 2 more doors to do, any suggestions?

I have never used this wood before so didn't know anything about black Limba, except that it was supposed to be hardwood.\none was very nice and seemed about the consistency of the purple heart I received. The other piece is much lighter in weight and rather porous. I don't know if this is normal for this wood but the appearance is quite different from the first piece, so I wouldn't use them both in the same project. although I think they are both beautiful grain just not the same and couldn't use together.

Just the one thing I did not like was the board was twisted down its length which made it difficult to rip it in three pieces down its length with a circular saw. I was able to work around that. The board is for making three dozen blocks in three different sizes that are 2.5" thick that will be donated to the kids at Ronald McDonald House for them to enjoy.

I've never worked with a hardwood that was quite this hard. Two issues: 1) This is a very dense and therefore heavy hardwood, so large furniture pieces will be gorgeous but could be a challenge to move. 2) I mostly used tongue-and-groove construction for a table with hinged leaves, but when it came time to attach the leaves to the table with screwed in brass hinges, the screw holes were either too tight and the screws broke off in the wood or they split the wood (and the splits didn't appear right away) or they were too loose and barely held. I didn't expect that to happen and it nearly ruined my otherwise finished project. Realistically, forget about using decorative, brass screws in this wood. Before you drill and screw into your project, first practice on some scrap granadillo.

The wood rips and cross cut extremely wonderful. When Routing take your time the wood seem to tear out easy. Also be careful when sanding by hand it also lets go of splitters easily. It's an open grain wood shapes and sand quickly. The red saw dust remind me of red carpenters caulk. I made sure I did not get the saw dust wet for fear that it might leave a red stains. The wood is super nice to use as accents.

One problem I did have was, when placing the order, I saw that there was the option of ordering 'knotty' lumber at a reduced price. I chose the Alder that was supposed to not have knots, but when I received it, there were several knots throughout the slab. The Alder was for a guitar body, and I'll have to strategically piece the wings of the guitar to avoid the knotted sections. I got the 1/2" thick 60" x 20" 3 pack. Every piece is almost perfect. Barely any noticeable warping, very sturdy for being 1/2". The corners were kinda smashed from shipping, but I don't really see any way around that happening. The package was pretty well reinforced, but when you mix a big courier like UPS and a heavy package, something's getting damaged. Plus the damage is so minimal it's gonna be a part of my cutoff waste anyway.

1/2" Baltic Birch worked well for the project, but was very dry (low moisture content). Excessive tare out was experienced when cutting dovetails. Had to resort to saturating the surface of the tail cut with a wet rag to minimize tare out. Completed drawers were finished using boiled linseed oil. Wood sucked in a good amount of the BLO. This is actually a good thing, but it does confirm the wood was very dry.

There is a very minor cupping in a few of the final size pieces (not evident in the shipped size sheets), but easily overcome in glue-up.

Ordered some Ipe for a Longbow project. Received 2 boards 6' long by about 6". Asked for as straight a grain as possible. In other words perfect boards. lol One board was perfect looking, except for wormholes. No problem, I was able to work around them luckily. The other board has about a 2' width on one side that I can use for a bow. The rest of the board has runoff and a couple of knots that is not good for a bow. The rest of the board has beautiful grain and will make an awesome jewelry box for my niece. This wood is great to work with and sands down to glassy smooth. The perfect board does not exist but one can always hope. Woodworkers Source is a top notch outfit so go buy some Ipe from them people.

The 4/4 wood was planed but still needed some work, however, I only had about a 3/32 of an inch to work with and still keep it at 3/4 inch. There were, in my opinion, a number of boards that needed work. Website says 6' to 14' lengths (usually) - I had no boards over 5' which caused me an issue but was able to work around it. Next time I will be sure to specify my length needs. Finally, there were many boards that had some amazing grain patterns so that was a big +.

If something is out of stock, then tell me, so I can plan accordingly. Having something backordered is no big deal - I just need to know for my schedule

First, let me say I have ordered several $1000s in lumber from Woodworkers and 98% of the pieces come in quickly and beautiful. This order of 50 bd ft was no exception. The wood looks great; however there is one "negative" worth mentioning (hence the markdown). According to the description, the boards are 4"-10" wide of various lengths. All but about 8 board feet were less than 4" wide (average 3.75") and the longest piece was 38". This would have been good information to have before I ordered the lumber. Fortunately this will work out well for my end table project as the widest/longest board (other than the table top) will only be 3"x22".\n\nNow, three caveats... 1) I did have the boards straight line ripped, so that could have been why almost every board was under 4". 2) Another reviewer did mention that the boards came in short and narrow for him, but the description was supposed to be corrected to reflect that. 3) I did not request specific board sizes because in the $1000s of orders I have placed I have always received boards well over 4" (most in the 6-8" range). Maybe that is my fault for not requesting... \n\nAll-in-all, I love the wood and it will work for my needs, but be careful when ordering. Anyone have any ideas for finishing Shedua?

The plywood is quite good but actually a bit thinner than 3/4" as it is metric. Use a circular blade made exclusively for plywood and clean the gack from the blade teeth which comes from the lamination process. Would buy more if needed.

I built two end tables for a customer with this order. three of the boards were twisted. I was able to cut around one and a half of the boards. However I was not able to use the rest of the twisted boards for this project. Thankfuly I had some other hard maple in stock so I was able to complete the project. Hopefuly I will be able to use the twisted boards in the future.

2 wildly different looks for the same order. I ordered what amounts to 4/ 10 x 96 inch boards (4/4) One was over 50% sap wood, one was 30% sap wood and the other two 95% heart wood. How am I going to put these 4 boards together into one table top? If all 4 boards were close to the same percentage of sap wood...50+, 30+, 5% +...that would have been great. I know cherry darkens over time, and that you can adjust the difference between the sap and heart woods with BLO, dies etc. My intent was a simple clear oil based finish only... as there is some black walnut in the piece as well. Now I have to let it 'sun tan'...and see where it ends up.

Outstanding material, nice figure, and I got one huge board about 13 inches wide. The only reason the grade isn't 5 stars is that I was nicked just a hair on board feet. I believe the company's thinking was that I got just a hair extra of 8/4, which I ordered at the same time, so things balanced out. But I believe that the company should always meet the minimum order quantity for every product.

I'm making small (10") race cars for my grandkids and I use the Curly Maple to make the fenders. Since the figure is nice on both sides I'll be able to select the best face for each fender. The wood looks great but it wasn't dry enough and there was, and will continue to be some warping. Fortunately, the wood is for wood panels for the sides of some vintage stereo equipment and they'll be screwed near the four corners and therefor not continue to warp while drying.

Unfortunately, since the ends of the turning squares weren't sealed, one of the squares had a split on one end that runs in about 6". No big deal, that blank will have to become a few pepper mills or, a bunch of bottle stoppers. The wood looks nice, with some interesting grain detail. Looking forward to turning it.

My order arrived unbelievably fast. The packaging was in perfect shape and the wood inside was too.\n\nThe wood appears to be very straight with good color and grain patterns. I am a little disappointed because three of the five pieces I received had rather deep milling marks on them. This may or not be a problem depending on how I actually wind up using them.

I ordered Canary Wood, Satinwood Brazil, and Bloodwood. The 8/4 canary wood was exceptional. I have already used some to make tapered legs and it was beautiful and wonderful to work with. The 4/4 canary wood and yellowheart were all that I expected. The bloodwood, I would rate fair. The shortest piece (only 36")was very warped. The other two pieces were a little warped, but OK. Since I need a couple of very small pieces for the center of a table design, I have been able to use the warped piece in six inch cuts. Incidentally, the bloodwood was also barely 3/4", too thin to plane it to get rid of the warping. I will probable use the jointer to plane it level, but it won't be any thicker than 1/2". Overall I was pleased with the order. The legs of my table are gorgeous.

It really was a fine product. Delivered as promised and lived up to expectations. I only had one small problem when milling it. All milled surfaces turned brown rather than a rich purple. I called and was told that placing it out in the sun would bring out the purple (the UV rays and all). I tried, but it being winter in the midwest, we don't get a lot of sun, hence a limited amount of UV, unlike Tempe AZ. Looks like I'll need to wait until next summer to try the sunbake route. Other than that, the wood was great

No obvious defects. It had a slight bow to it but that can't be criticized coming from AZ to such a humid state as LA. The only issue I had was one end has a very thick coat of some sticky substance. I didn't like it but it's not hurting because I have to mill it down a bit more anyway.

This is my second shipment of mahogany taking advantage of the sale pricing. The wood is very nice. I got several very wide pieces that wil make a great table top or cabinet sides. There is a little more variation in color than the first order, but nothing major. I felt like the mix of wide and narrow boards was quite generous towards wider boards. I'm considering ordering more to stock up as mahogany is getting very hard to find and you can't beat this price or service. Thanks! Oh - extremely well packaged too.

The wood is good. Will make a very nice surface for the project. Of all the wood I've purchased this batch was milled on one edge but had but multiple ends with cracks. This is unusual from your company. Some can be used for face framing and some is now waste. Others were damages by UPS. One of the wraped packages had a 6" gouge out of it with exposed damaged oak. I've been able to work around most of the damage but ended up getting a 20' pack as the waste was more than I figured on. On one 6' X 7" board it is necessary to rip 1" X 16" long section, a 1" X 30" section on the same side oposite end and a giant knot on the other edge on the end of the board. Those edges look like they went through a shredder. Don't usually get oak. Like working with African Mahoganey and have purchsed many board feet of 8/4 and 4/4 from your company with virtually no problems.

I ordered this product to cover the plywood panels on the back of built-in bookcases. It arrived in a in a cardboard container with no obvious damage. When I unrolled it to apply to the plywood panels I found one sheet had an eight inch cut along the face of the veneer near one edge. I didn't use a knife to open the package so the cut was there when it was packaged. Fortunately it was less than in inch beyond where I needed to trim it so I was able to use it as it.\n\nOtherwise I would recommend this product. It finished nicely and provides the look I was trying to achieve.

I do really love working with Wenge but there are two things to definitely keep in mind: The sawdust is very toxic. Where a mask or respirator and take a shower immediately after work. In Africa they actually make a tea out of this and use it as a poison. Also, it is VERY hard on your tool blades. It will dull them quickly and as I found out the hard way you get a really nice notch in your joiner blade after just a couple of passes. It is worth it though. Wenge projects tun out beautiful with a mirror finish and although they are heavy, they are very durable.

Generally very good selection of boards by your staff. Internal stress is hard to spot without opening up the board. A couple of these boards bowed when I ripped them to 1-inch pieces (I build gallery picture frames with the basswood) but luckily I was able to use the badly bowed pieces for shorter segments, thus minimizing the bow. So aside from some difficulty milling the profiles, it all worked out okay. A little spalting too but not a problem.

Review for JET 10'' Benchtop Planer Jointer w/ stand
Combines two valuable tools for the home shop at one affordable price. These are tools I normally couldn't justify cost-wise. And at ten inches, the jointer is much wider than most tools affordable in the home wood-shop.\n\nOn first assembly, it seemed impossible to achieve properly aligned input and output tables, but an email to Jet got me an instruction page that should have been in the manual.\n\nIt is difficult to put the dust collection funnel in position for jointing, but it really does fit when properly positioned. Dust collection or a shop vacuum is important, lest sawdust and shavings prevent smooth operation. Keep it clean.\n\nOverall, cut quality after a few uses is very good with small boards. I haven't tried yet, but longer boards will probably require auxiliary support.

Great in small hone shop
Review for JET 10'' Benchtop Planer Jointer w/ stand
Combines two valuable tools for the home shop at one affordable price. These are tools I normally couldn't justify cost-wise. And at ten inches, the jointer is much wider than most tools affordable in the home wood-shop.
On first assembly, it seemed impossible to achieve properly aligned input and output tables, but an email to Jet got me an instruction page that should have been in the manual.
It is difficult to put the dust collection funnel in position for jointing, but it really does fit when properly positioned. Dust collection or a shop vacuum is important, lest sawdust and shavings prevent smooth operation. Keep it clean.
Overall, cut quality after a few uses is very good with small boards. I haven't tried yet, but longer boards will probably require auxiliary support.

I bought 30 Ft of 4/4 S2S red oak online -- sight unseen. And I am completely satisfied. Communication has been excellent. Packaging was well done, and delivery was very fast. I have jointed and planed to 3/4" for use as door stiles and rails and drawer fronts. The stock has milled well with little tearout and almost no warpage. It's all FS, but grain patterm is by no means wild. Side waste will be less than 10%. I would do this all over again.

I ordered black limba. I got black limba, but only about a 2 inch strip right along one of the edges. This section of wood could almost have been full white limba if the black section had been trimmed off. Not quite what I was expecting, I was expecting more black on it, especially because of the picture. I am using it for a guitar back, and after deciding I didn't want a skunk stripe down the middle, I now have a full white, black limba back. Don't care much about the lack of black/figure, i am more interested in tonal quality, but would have been more striking with black/figure on it. Came as one full board when delivered. I would still recommend woodworkers as a supply entity because they were very quick with shipping, and the packaging was great. I would also still recommend the black limba(korina) because it is easy to work with and very dense.

I recieved an approximately 10 inch by 8 foot piece of genuine mahogany along with another 20 bf of mixed types. It was nearly flawless, except for mild curve along it's length, which I have come to accept to some degree. All the boards were quite well secured and protected for shipping, and arrived in a reasonable, length of time. Based on this, my first order with WS, I would be likely to order more.

Three of the 4 pieces were in excellent condition. The fourth square had a significant corner defect along one edge of the piece. On all four pieces the grain line was excellent. You might want to consider wax dipping the ends. The pieces were extremely dry and some cracking was beginning to occur. Overall the packing was not very protective of the wood although my package came through the UPS experience fairly well.

Purchased this wood to use in beginning (small) furniture projects with my 12 year old. The wood works easily with hand tools, has minimum amount of tear out when hand planing, and sands nicely (although it seems to be a bit soft for carding, but that might be my problem). Finished in a rubbed oil and wax, the grain pops with a nice, cherry-like glow. Will be working more in this wood, which I tried on a lark because of the monthly special.

Considering how tough it is to get good quality honduran mahogany these days, sapele is my new choice. In some regards it looks better and works just as nicely. And it's less money. One of my latest projects was a sideboard made from this wood and I think it came out great. Sapele is also favorable to work with, so I'll be using it more and more in the future.

I ordered this in 8/4 to use for a table. I received several 8"-9" boards to resaw and bookmatch for the top. The results, though beautiful, were quite wavy. Since I use hand planes and scrapers it was quite a challenge. Breadboard ends for the top (size 34" x 48") helped some but it is not perfectly flat. I planed one of the extension leaves flat but the next day it was "tweaked" again. Currently I'm in the finishing process and the wood is beautiful, some tear out in places and I did resort to using a sander to flatten as best as I could. I'll post some pictures when it's completed in a week or two. Now it's on to the chairs!

Pleasantly surprised by this wood in my coffee table project. It seemed to dull my table saw blade a bit thogh. I made sure I wore a respirator too, which is good to do anyway. Really liked the grain pattern and it took a poly finish easily. Looks wonderful.

One of my favorite woods. It's not all that nice to work with as it kind of burns easy and it's coarse grained which causes some splinters. But there's something about the way it looks all polished up that gets me to look past its workability shortcomings.

Can't give this wood a full 5 stars because it is a little difficult to work with due to the splintering (cross cuts and router operations). Just have to be mindful, use backer boards and such. Most boards I've ever got were just about flawless, too. Doesn't seem to cup or warp much at all.

I bought 5 of these blanks and each one met my expectations. They were straight, free of knots and cracks, and mostly heartwood. One piece was about 1/4 sapwood, but I think these have been steamed. So the color was pretty even. All in all I'm happy.

The sheets I got were really nice. Bought three for a desk and matching cabinet and there was enough to make matching drawer fronts. This stuff is incredible once you get a finish on it. I used clear brush on poly and the red really came out nice. The picture you have doesn't do this wood justice.
