I bought this kit to make a cutting board as a gift. I thought finished product was great and it was very easy to do. Well worth the money I spent.

Great walnut boards for making projects in the workshop!

There was plenty of material to work with, could easily make 2 smaller cutting boards. Nice variation of heart and sapwood.

Wood was fantastic and there was more than I expected. Cutting boards turned out great.

Hello, I placed two orders for the variegated tawny walnut which were received with the added board oil and glue. The wood was in great condition, with no defects, and with edges so straight they looked book matched. Great job WWS.

Nice selection of dark and light Walnut boards. I trimmed off the bad edges and ended up with plenty of quality wood for my cutting board.

The wood selection I received is quite nice. The mix between light and dark is about even. Some boards are light on one side, and dark on the other. A few have a nice blend of light and dark on one side. I trimmed a small amount of waste off most boards (1/4 to 1/2 inch strips). I had enough good wood for 2 large cutting boards (12 x 16 x 3/4 thick). The kit contains a bottle of type 2 glue, but I will use type 3 for a bit more water protection in the joints. I will save the small oil bottle that comes in the kit for the kitchen cabinet and monthly maintenance. I use 2 coats of oil, then 1 coat of a wax / oil conditioner for new boards.
