This is the first time I have worked with Ash. I made a park bench and I will be putting on a Teak oil finish. The wood has some gray in the grain so I will see in the end if this is a plus or minus when finished.

Two of the boards are obviously from old-growth trees; almost twelve inches wide! The grain is gorgeous. I am replicating molding in a 1900-era house, the wide boards are perfect for replicating the wide (10-11 inches plus a small 3 inch piece on top) base molding. Fantastic!
