Reviews for Aromatic Cedar 4/4 Lumber

I requested not too much white in my Cedar and I should have said no knots ! It was loaded with them but the projects for my pastor I try to avoid the knots.

Normally everything that I receive is wonderful, however with the Cedar, the boards ended up being two separate boards to equal the width that I needed and I wasn't prepared for that. Secondly the boards were both severely cracked when I received them. I do not know if this was due to shipping or if it was sent that way, but Cedar is a soft wood and so you should probably order more footage then you really need just in case the edges are cracked.

Lots of surface defects, may be normal for this type of wood. I've never worked with aromatic cedar before. Will need to fill big surface gouges with epoxy or dutchmen. Packaged well and arrived promptly.
