Very nice looking wood. I've decided to put the project that I had in mind for the wood on hold and take a shot at giving the boards more personality by using a recipe that I found on line to create spalting in the wood. hopefully it will turn out well and I'll follow up with photos.

This beautiful maple was the perfect starting point for an heirloom Christmas gift for my daughter. All the pieces were very usable and nicely figured. This is only my second order from Woodworkers Source and I was skeptical of ordering project materials online. But I'm coming around. It's a good option especially for us not getting any younger.
