Beautiful pieces of wood.

One of the difficulties I have when planning a project is to envision a wood in the design. This is especially true when it is a wood that I haven't work with as I most often use wood I can find conveniently. This selection provides sample that I can use to consider types of exotic woods that I simply haven't been able to have on had to reference while I'm planning my next project... Each piece is labeled with the wood name to clearly identify each sample.

Kit was as advertised and in good shape. I gave it this rating as I think it has limited uses for most people.

The cuts were beautiful. My Grandillo seemed to be a little spalted I don't know if that's natural coloring or what but it was a very nice surprise.\nI just wish I knew how dense they were before using handtools!

The name is appropriate since the package is reminiscent of a Whitman's Sampler, at least is size.
