The pictures don't do the wood justice. Not knowing what to expect I left the board sizes up to the picker. They matched the rest of my orders length and were much wider than I expected. I like the content of the order so much I am expanding my project to utilize the dimensions of pieces.

Poor quality and didn't get the entire amount ordered. They were full of huge holes and broken off on some of the ends.

I ordered 25 bd ft of 7'+ high character walnut and got four awesome boards. The character was excellent with a variety of grain patterns and figure throughout. Going to use them for a headboard and drawer fronts and they will be perfect.

Very high quality walnut. Has some awesome looking grain patterns.

High Character? Heck yes! Only bought one short board for a small project but it looks great. Board had a pretty good size knot centered in top half, or bottom, and a split, with bug burrows, with some minor wood loss on the other end which looked like it had some charring. Do not believe it was but had the blackened color on the edges of the split. Changed its color to a deep dark brown with a semi gloss finish. The dark natural colors around the knot and the split look even darker black than before the stains and contrast just enough with the dark brown to look like an old board. I really like the way it turned out and would recommend this wood for an old distressed look to your projects.

very happy with the lumber that was sent to me.

I found two or three large knots that protruded through the one 4/4 I received. I also had a bad experience re-sawing the board, some of the problem was a bad re-saw blade, but overhaul I could not keep the blade from going off center. I did manage to salvage a few nice pieces. Im going to look for some home grown walnut, and re-saw that. Thanks for your fast delivery & service, and I may try another order, just to see if I get better quality lumber.
