This is the first time trying something like this. When they first came in put one on the Porta-Cable and had an old Ash block, itt really surprised me how fast it smoothed @ 150 swapped over to the 220 very quickly I was done. O yea I'll be changing over to more of the Merka Autonet these things are great!!!

I have been building "Heirloom Quality" Custom Woodwork for 35+ years, in all that time I have seen abrasives go from "Silica Sand Paper to Ceramic grit impregnated on cloth" and some that have gone away, This Very well thought out system is far superior to everything I have used, it lasts 5x's longer working with Hardwood, it does "load-up" with softer species that have a high resin content (but it is easily cleaned) I will be using this much more often in my shop- it cuts costs by lasting longer and I don't have as much down time- These cost savings I will pass on to my clientele- Thanks WWS for offering this New Media for finishing
