Reviews for Poculi 4/4 Lumber

Was hard to find, but Woodworkers Source had it and had a good price. Now here is the kicker, not only did they have a good price, they called me and said they just lowered the price and would adjust my invoice. I ordered another 10 bd ft because of it. Now that is service. I love the wood and use it when I need a grass looking piece on my Intarsia.

The color and growth ring pattern on the board I received were great - nice and even on both counts - albeit what I ordered was fairly small (4x30). Slightly surprised to find 3 pinholes tho - but nothing that can't be dealt with. Overall this wood is pretty much like oak in weight, hardness, and grain - it's gonna need filling one way or another if you're looking for a glassy finish. Was pleased to the point that I ordered it again - roughly double the size - and got another great board. Give it a try!
