I have mixed feelings about this Birch plywood. For each order I’ve placed, shipping it has seemed to take awhile. When it does arrive, it is nicely packaged. I’ve ordered this plywood multiple times before. Previous purchases were good, hence placing more orders. My last order I am finding the multiple sheets that have glue pockets in them; very frustrating as I need to increase power, reduce speed, cut again to get thru the glue pockets which results in extra charring.

Used this for numerous small projects on my hobby laser engraver.

I use it for drawer bottoms. consistently high quality.

Came flat with clean edges with minor tear from cutting. It was packaged nice and came with no damage and allows me to cut fret work with no issues with my scroll saw

Great job, THE ONLY THING that I wish you could provide is to allow the customer to choose whether your cut is with or against the grain. I am using this in the ceiling of a 1972 VW Campmobile and I am not confident that I will be able to install the bend without snapping the board(s). I have not tried it yet, but will soon.

So many knots in this wood makes it hard to cut on a laser

I use this wood in my laser and it cuts perfectly and leaves golden brown edges. It was also cut down and shipped perfectly

Nice product. Arrived with damage to the shipper and minor damage to the product (not WWS fault). I left room in my measurements just for that, so it won't affect my finished product. Looks great stained and perfectly into the drawer bottoms of the secretary that I'm refinishing.

The 1/8" plywood is excellent quality. I loved having the option to get it cut to a size that was optimal for me. The wood arrived 2 days faster than expected. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Woodworkers Source is my new source for wood.

I have looked high and low for longer wood for my passthrough slot for my glowforge.. look no further! This stuff is amazing. I'm purchasing from NJ so it's a long travel for this wood box was beat up a bit but the wood inside was completely fine!

Wood came in great shape and the quality was fantastic. The packaging was greatly damaged in shipping. Looked like it was dragged all the way to my location. UPS not very kind this time.

This is nice plywood, with few patches, and a sturdy feel. I know it won't warp like hardboard does, which is really important for my project. I'm very satisfies. It also shipped fast, and arrived in perfect condition.

Over all good Quality. This wood is used on my Laser and needs to be a good quality. Would recommend it to others.

well packaged, good quality

I bought this baltic birch ply for use in a 40W laser. About one third to half of my cuts were ruined by a glue pocket that the laser could not cut through. So much wasted wood. The surface looks nice but splinters easily.

I have been using your birch plywood for many years and have never had a problem! We do Scrolled Art and this wood is just perfect for our pictures!

I will preface this review by saying that my negative experience with this plywood was entirely a result of it failing in a very specific application, specifically steam bending. Out of the (extremely well-protected) packaging, the wood looks excellent, with crisp edges and a precise cut. I table-sawed it into the pieces I wanted with no issues. However, after a few minutes of steaming, the layers of wood became fully de-laminated, and the inner layer looked like a lasagna noodle. Whatever binder used here is vulnerable to heat, or water, or both. That's a real shame, because Woodworkers Source is one of the few places online you can get a full 60" length. It also looks fantastic, but I've had to re-design my project around this shortfall.

1. Not cut square! 2. Expected surface layer wood fibers to be parallel with the long dimension of the plywood!?! Not so for half of the pieces. 3. Not all of the surface layer voids were filled....

I am now carrying a line of dollhouse components and furniture and have found the various kits available to be somewhat lacking. They are beautiful on the outside but have difficult interior space. Your product is perfect for redesigning interiors as it has a smooth finish and needs very little if any reworking or sanding and matches the 1/8" thickness of the kit's original material.

I ordered 4 sheets of Baltic Birch for some longboards I made. I can't get this locally so I had to risk buying it online site unseen. The quality was superb and the cuts were square. I'm going to order another 4 sheets once these longboards sell.

I jumped in and ordered 50 sheets for use in my laser cutter. None of the sizes are exactly what will fit the cutter (a glowforge which has a slightly smaller work area than I am used to), but a few are close enough to just need one cut on a saw to make 100 sheets of useful sizes. I inspected the wood when it arrived and it is all clean and free of knots or plugs, making nearly every inch useful to me! I am pleasantly surprised and will order again.

So far I've ordered two batches for use in a laser cutter. The first batch worked great, easy to cut, and looked good. The second batch had a lot of more patches and even knot voids in the surface. Often one side would be patched while the other had knots with uneven surface coloration. It also cut very inconsistently with the laser often having areas that would not go through. When I used an exacto knife to finish cuts the laser would start it often appeared that there were clumps of glue that the laser would cut through. Over all I've had to both increase the power I'm cutting at and vastly decrease the my cutting speed. I've tested with other pieces of material and everything works fine, so my only conclusion is a bad batch of ply. I will NOT be ordering again.

The last 2-3 orders of the 1/8" Baltic Birch has been so much better. Seems like they are back to where they were when I started buying from them a year or two ago. I guess everyone should expect a possible bad order and I should have complained louder but I would recommend this product now!! Note: I did switch companies temporarily for my Baltic birch but I'm back hear and happy with the last couple of orders.

Wish the production and shipping time was streamlined. Took longer than I allowed for (my fault), but was slower than other sources.

I've tried buying plywood online before, but you cant get the size you want, the shipping is through the roof, and it'll end up breaking anyways. this company is easily the best I've ever done business with. they got my order out fast, it was in good condition, and the best part is it doesn't break the bank. I'm very pleased and will definitely do business int the future.

This will be my 7th. order even though my last order was very poor. Warping was much worse then usual. Both sides had large knots, repair pucks, etc. The grain was raised on both sides; as though these sheets had gotten wet and then dried. Had to spend a lot of time sanding and working around the warping to make it a usual product. Very suspicious since the wood is being shipped from (I assume) a very low humidity area to an east coast coastal town with high humidity and arrived with all the traits of dampness and improper storage. First 5 orders were fine so I'm hoping number 6 was a bad exception and this order will be at least as good as my earlier orders. Otherwise, even though the price was good the quality will destroy any value. At least in my situation. I'm recommending the product with caution.

Price cannot be beat, even locally as far as I can tell. The quality of the wood is good, but there is quite a bit of warping on these thin plates. I do not believe it can be helped tough.

Was not impressed with the quality of wood sent. The last orders from you did have repair pucks. But this order had several on both sides and also large knots I will have to be very picky on the Laser projects I use this wood on this time. the first two orders were great, little warp but I know that is normal. the third order had lot more repair pucks and were mainly on one side, very usable. Then I ordered this larger lot of wood hoping to get the same quality as the three orders. That was not the case. Half my order looked like it was pulled from the bottom of the pile. I am going to order again from you and I just hope the quality comes back up.

I've boughten over 100x of these packs since 2015. There has been a 30%...30% increase on the item and also a 20% on shipping! This is insane guys! Now I'm forced to find a better price some where else. Good product, usually not too warped, but not price isn't justified.

I love the Baltic Birch Plywood that WWS sells, it is the very best, I use the 1/8" for bottoms in Jewelry Boxes, laminate it in a jig for bent pieces (I use Titebond III) but epoxy will work as well, the quality and price are the Best

The product is exactly what we've been looking for. That it was available in various sizes also was quite helpful.

I was looking for baltic ply to use as an artistic flourish on a Little Free Library. Three smaller sheets from Amazon were more expensive than 10 larger pieces from Woodworkers Source. It is gratifying to still be able to buy in bulk.

The Plywood Packs I ordered, two different sizes of 1/8" Baltic Birch Plywood, both came to me in very good condition. They were all ready for the projects I had in mind.

1/8 inch Baltic birch - looking to make some longboards with my kids. Our first attempt. Turns out more folks prefer 1/16 inch Canadian maple however I had the birch already and tried it. Had this cut into 12 x 60 and 5 of these glued together with Tightbond III make a nice board. Used a mechanical press to form a double drop platform. Wood was very nice quality, no defects, and came packaged very well.

Most of the times I've ordered, the product was outstanding. But the last order, the wood was a lot more red than white. Think heartwood. Also a little "fuzzy", needing a lot of sanding if you want a smooth surface. And even then, I wasn't able to get every piece smooth. After some "fine grit" sanding I could still feel "ribs" in the grain of the wood, when I ran my fingers across it. And a lot more "plugs" than I'm accustomed to. But I managed to make it work. 1 bad batch out of probably 10 or so.

I ordered a sizable quantity of this product. I had them cut into 12" x 30" sections, which worked out perfectly. Everything was shipped within 48 hours and I received everything quite quickly. All of the wood arrived without damage, and only one board out of my entire order had some warping, which is much better than the 90% warped wood you can get at the local lowes or home depot.

My order of 1/8th inch plywood ended up three boxes of 1/2" ply cut to the dimensions I had requested. Called WoodSource and they promptly shipped the correct order and notified UPS to pick-up the 1/2" ply. UPS responded right away and everything was correct with the replacement shipment.

Very disappointed in the number of pieces with football patches on both sides and the amount of warp.

I ordered some of this wood to build some custom longboards. Received it in good shape and built 2 longboards. One with 4 layers and the other with 5. I will continue to order for my custom longboards. Just placed another order for some more bb.

I ordered a large amount of this very handy plywood, it is the best for cabinet supports (small ones) as well as jigs that are to be reused, also patterns for many custom pcs. that are time consuming to layout - if you need a high quality thin plywood that is very versatile - give this low cost tuff stuff a chance, you will be happy with the glueing ability as well as the ease to work with- I will order more of this

This is very strong 1/8th inch plywood. I have used "foreign" 1/8th and I have found voids inside which, I think, has to do with the weakness. I liked the price too.

I ordered a number of sheets of 1/8 inch plywood from WWS, their price and shipping costs were very reasonable. My order was delivered on the rainiest day of the ear in SoCal. Despite UPS's best efforts to drown the package when I opened it everything was dry as a bone and in perfect shape - Bravo WWS. I'd buy from them again.
