Reviews for Genuine Mahogany Paper Back Veneer Sheet - 4' x 8' Roll

I ordered this with the mahogany lumber they had on sale. Even though I knew it wasn't from the same source, I expected a mahogany look like I saw at a Woodcraft, a local lumber supplier, and samples from a veneer supplier. I was also told it was consistent with the lumber. I had to return it because it didn't resemble mahogany in my opinion. Also, it had a different color base from the lumber. The stuff I saw locally was much closer.

I ordered this product to cover the plywood panels on the back of built-in bookcases. It arrived in a in a cardboard container with no obvious damage. When I unrolled it to apply to the plywood panels I found one sheet had an eight inch cut along the face of the veneer near one edge. I didn't use a knife to open the package so the cut was there when it was packaged. Fortunately it was less than in inch beyond where I needed to trim it so I was able to use it as it. Otherwise I would recommend this product. It finished nicely and provides the look I was trying to achieve.
