Why Choose Iroko / African Teak?
Iroko offers superb weathering properties and a wonderful earthy burnished-brown color. Consider it the best alternative to high-priced teak. Medium to coarse texture with an interlocking grain that often produces interesting patterns. Open pores could be filled for a smooth finish, or left alone for a natural texture. Expect the wood to work easily with both power and hand tools.
Iroko Outdoor Cladding — Warm, Natural, Incredible
Give your patio or outdoor room a bold, resort-level upgrade with real African Iroko. Often called African Teak, it delivers warm golden tones and long-lasting outdoor durability.
Why You'll Love It
- Gorgeous Color: Natural honey-gold tones that glow with a simple exterior oil or marine varnish.
- Outdoor Ready: Solid Iroko resists rot, insects, and weather for years.
- Real Wood: Sustainably sourced, premium hardwood — not plastic or composite.
- Floating-Wood Look: Installs with hidden deck fasteners for a clean, modern appearance.
- Low Maintenance: Finish it to preserve the color, or let it silver naturally without losing strength.

How to Install (3 Easy Steps)

1. Find Your Joists or Studs
Mark the ceiling joists or wall studs (typically 16" or 24" OC). Start with a straight first board using a chalk line.

2. Fasten Boards with Hidden Clips
Use standard hidden deck fasteners to lock each board in place. They create strong, consistent spacing and an invisible, floating-wood look.

3. Cut to Fit & Apply Finish (Optional)
Trim boards with standard tools as you go. Apply exterior oil or marine varnish to preserve the golden color, or leave it unfinished to age naturally.
