Mostly good
I purchased both the exotic and standard cutting board sets. They both came in the same box so no idea which pieces came with which set. Since I feel this product is aimed at the novice woodworker it would have been nice if the speeches was marked on each piece. Also one of the species was really wooly like there was a lot of tear out when it was planed. Also one of the wood types was about 1/16 inch or so wider than everything else. Good practice for using a hand plane I guess. All the pieces were pretty straight and flat. Pretty pricey but if you are just getting started and don't have access to a planner and jointer than not a bad deal.

Good mix of colors
This is a good mix of colors with the Purple Heart really catching the eye. And with shipping included, it seems to be a good value. I'm happy with it
