I’ve purchased from woodworkers source numerous times, and I’ve always had an excellent experience. In my most recent purchase, I ordered some curly maple and wasn’t satisfied with some of the stock they provided (there was no curl in several boards). I reached out, and Lyle was prompt in his response, went above and beyond to make things right, and did so in a timely manner. I ended up with beautifully figured maple boards I’ll be using for a jewelry box for my young daughter. This company has gained a lifelong customer.

The curly maple I received was above the top. The quality of the wood was exceptional. it was delivered very quickly and undamaged.

Great wood with amazing figuring

The wood had a good amount of figure to it. I'm still learning how to use it in its best light. All in all I'm pleased with WoodWorkers Source for their selection. Cory did a great job with me on the phone and assured me it would work for what I was doing. Dave

Ordered smaller pieces of this wood specie but was sent one bigger piece accommodating the board feet . I am so pleased with the curly grain; it'll make some beautiful boxes.

Very clear white maple. I was expecting to see a little more show when the light hit the finished figure in the wood. I have 4 coats of Tried and True polymerized linseed on it - maybe needs 4 more?

The board was just what I wanted. It had lots of figure. I couldn't have picked out a better board it I had done it myself.

Very nice selection of maple from woodworkers source, however one piece was slightly cupped and could have been caused by the variance in humidity from here and there.. I was able to get around this so a non issue for me but may not be for anyone expecting perfection with no capable means to make it work.

Maybe I was expecting too much. Wood was usable, just not as dramatic as what i was hoping for. A couple unfortunately placed knots did not help.

The order came in the time frame promised, and the wood exceeded my expectations. I live in a place where the closest hardwood lumber dealer is hours away, so having the ability to order online from the guys I used to buy from when I lived in Arizona is beyond ideal.

Good looking lumber for my tabletop

Exactly what I ordered. The lumber I have requested, that I use in my intarsia woodworking, has been of excellent quality. The grain of these woods has enhanced the quality of my finised products.

I received the order in good shape and it had all the promised dimensions, icnludin the special planing part of it required. All the maple had figure as promised.

The board shows nice figure on both sides. It's a little rough in spots but I'll face plane it anyway before cutting to size. I'm making small (10") race cars for my grandkids and I use the Curly Maple to make the fenders. Since the figure is nice on both sides I'll be able to select the best face for each fender. I would order this again.

My order arrived well-packed and within the normal shipment time quoted. The two 5' pieces of figured maple are beautiful, nearly book-matched with no warping or blemishes. I'm eager to get them joined, routed and sanded soon. Your phone call to follow-up my online order was appreciated and the people who assisted and specifically chose this wood for me should be commended. This gorgeous maple will be used as a display base with unique routed edges and full perimeter rosewood inlay for a large museum-quality model sailing ship. I'll be finishing with a natural stain, satin finish with glazed edge treatment. I'll take some pics when all is done and forward them to you. Thanks guys. Good job!

So pretty it almost hurts me to cut itâ€"really an exceedingly beautiful piece of lumber. Straight as an arrow, no cup or twist. 5 stars!

this was the first time i have purchased woodworkers source. I ordered a few pieces of lumber and was very pleased with the quality. it was shipped quickly and well packed. i will return here as a source for my wood working projects.

When I received my order, I had to open it right away. For $9, I was not expecting much, but imagine my surprise when I found a beautifully figured maple plank. The curl runs through the entire piece and the color is even with no visible flaws. The only problem I had is deciding what part of the wood would be the best area to cut my guitar neck from.
