Reviews for 1-3/4" Cherry Pre-Cut Squares

Two pieces had nasty cracks that rendered them useless for cutting boards. Probably turning too, unless you were making a very skinny part.

Received the pieces of wood in very good condition.

These are exactly what I needed to complete a cherry chest for my grandson. \nI used the squares for the 4 corner posts. \nPerfect quality.

This is the first time I purchased wood stock for a project sight unseen. I am totally happy with the pieces i received for my cutting board project. The 1 3/4" square sticks were to size except for on stick that had some material missing on one end. Since the stock was much thicker than my cutting board will finish I will just remove a little less material from that one side. The wood grain on all of the pieces were clean, no knots, and the lengths were within the tolerance called out in the description on the web page. I will consider ordering from woodworkersource.com for future projects.

The cherry blanks were right-sized and turned well. Turned a piece for my sister-in-law and it came out beautifully.\nI will keep cherry blanks on hand from now own.

Wood is jointed well, but color of the batch I got was way too light -- hard to differentiate from maple! Other species of wood I received were fine.

really nice lumber - well packaged and protected. I will be using them for table legs.

Good texture and easy to work with. No splitting or cracking occurred when I cut it for tapered legs on a table. The only complaint I have is it produced a lot of very fine dust while working with it and you should definitely wear a dust mask. It looks very good after applying the finish.

Bought 8 cherry furniture squares to convert to legs. They were packed well and had some really beautiful characteristics and straight grain. I pre-milled them and they were stable even after final milling.

The wood is always perfect when it arrives. I am halfway thru the project and cant wait to stain it

My order arrived unbelievably fast. The packaging was in perfect shape and the wood inside was too.\n\nThe wood appears to be very straight with good color and grain patterns. I am a little disappointed because three of the five pieces I received had rather deep milling marks on them. This may or not be a problem depending on how I actually wind up using them.
