Nice and flat, no defects of nite

Got my order of cherry a couple of days ago, just what I expected, will create raised panel doors once these boards are all cut and glued up!

Minimal bowing or warping, dried well, nicely finished surfaces, not as dark as I'm used to but OK color, few knots.

I received 4/4 Cherry with great colooration and grain. Thanks so much!!

The wood itself was very good, no issues except for more knots than I had on previous orders. The packing was bad, some of the edges of the boards were broken & splintered, and one end of one board was badly damaged. The wood was not cut as I asked. I asked for nothing longer than 4 feet, I received two 10 foot pieces and one 4 foot piece.

The two long pieces of lumber looked great and had rich color with very little blemishes. The one side planed was a nice service which makes my work a little easier. All I had to do was to cut a very thin slice off the other side. There was a 5 inch crack at one end of one of the boards and I was able to minimize the crack with epoxy. Maybe the wood shrunk?

Ordered this cherry lumber for a couple of turning projects. The boards were fantastic, I couldn't have asked for anything better!

This order was for cherry and walnut. Since I've reviewed the walnut already, I'll just mention the cherry. The wood is beautiful and, as expected. a joy to work with. I'm also quite fond of the scent of cherry.

Ordered some regular Cherry lumber - not the figured stuff, but flat sawn boards. What I got was downright gorgeous wood. Really didn't want to cut into it, but had to... and the project came out spectacular.

I bought 4/4 stock to make a solid wood top for a piece of furniture and needed 3 boards for a glue up . Although the lumber I received was really nice, the color of one board didn't match the others. So, when you order, be specific as to what you need/want so the order pickers have a better understanding of what you are looking for. Something I neglected to do.

I have received 2 shipments of Cherry, and although both shipments were good, I believe your last shipment was the best. I asked for specifically what I was looking for, and these guys really came through. Even my wife thought the wood looked beautiful., and wanted to know where I got it. It is currently being worked into a blanket chest front and top, and should look great.

I purchased 10 board feet and when it arrived it was so nice. color tone and grain so nice. I did order my boards giving them min max dim. requirements for my project and they hit a home run with the selection.The guys there hand picked me some pretty boards, I called them to say how pleased I was, and ordered 10 more board ft.

Ordered 8bf of this 4/4 Cherry. Color is lighter than I expected, even my mentor questioned me if I was sure that the wood was cherry. It appears that on one of the boards, the straight line edge had some damage which defeated the purpose of having it. Also it appears the packing was poorly done as there where divots all over the largest board. I figure this happened during shipping. Not a big deal but had to plane to remove the divots that where too deep for sanding out. This is the first time I have ordered a large amount of wood online. I'm thinking I'll stick to just turning stock and try to local purchase big pieces.

2 wildly different looks for the same order. I ordered what amounts to 4/ 10 x 96 inch boards (4/4) One was over 50% sap wood, one was 30% sap wood and the other two 95% heart wood. How am I going to put these 4 boards together into one table top? If all 4 boards were close to the same percentage of sap wood...50+, 30+, 5% +...that would have been great. I know cherry darkens over time, and that you can adjust the difference between the sap and heart woods with BLO, dies etc. My intent was a simple clear oil based finish only... as there is some black walnut in the piece as well. Now I have to let it 'sun tan'...and see where it ends up.

The sizes were all very workable with lots of useable widths and lengths. I have purchased nearly 1,000 board feet of nearly 30 different species from Woodworkers source and I have NEVER been disappointed with even 1 board foot. Don't be worried Canadian woodworkers, these people know what they are doing with across-the-board shipping. I have received wood delivered to my doorstep cheaper than I can buy for in Regina (shipping included). Thanks Craig & Robert

As I've said in other reviews, this 20 bf of cherry was clearly chosen by someone who took the care he/she would if building with it themself. The wood is all really clean and will be a joy to use. And kudos to the packaging person. This arrived tight, well protected, and I truly believe waterproof. (That shrink wrapped plastic was thick and full coverage.) Thanks again for and excellent experience.

Wood was of high quality, not warped or bowed, with good grain. All pieces were 6 - 8" width.

I am happy with the wood itself although it has a couple of knots that I wasn't expecting. What I was unhappy about was, I asked for a piece of 8" by 8' lumber. which if needed you could split the length of 8' keeping it 8" wide. And you split the width making it 4" wide. But I have made it work, and do appreciate being able to comment on my experience. I am using this cherry wood for an intarsia of a bald eagle. I will be taking pictures of the process of this project, and if I am happy with them I will forward them to you. I look forward to ordering from you again.

Received the order in a very timely manner. The wood was well matched and of excellent quality. Wood was packed in such a manner that it would have needed to be run over by a steam roller to have been damaged during shipment. Enjoyed the humor of reading the order confirmation and shipping emails. Gave me a since of personalized attention.

About 4 years ago I ordered around 200 LBF of the cherry and was very happy with what I got (so happy I'm back shopping for more lumber). Anyways, I over estimated assuming a slightly higher scrap factor since I did not hand pick the lumber, but it was not needed as they did an excellent job of selecting for me. Out of the 200 board foot, I had one board with significant checking and that was it. And in counting the LBF they didn't count the checked part of the board. Anyways great company, and if you have pricey local suppliers, they are an outstanding option!

Three of the four pieces had a lot of the light almost white color to them and not a lot of red. One piece is warped pretty good but I will leave it to acclimate to my shop and see if that helps. I like the really red cherry so I was a little disappointed.

I ordered about two board feet for an engraving project and received an excellent piece of wood. Beautiful grain, impeccably level, it was perfect for my project. Plus, this company is so fun to work with! Thanks

I just received my shipment of 4/4 cherry. All I can say is you have far exceeded any expectations I may have had in several ways. First, the total price including shipping was less than half of what I would have had to pay my local supplier and the quality was better. Second, the time it took to receive the shippment from the day I placed the order until the day I received it was FAST! Third, some of the best cherry I have ever seen. Was very pleased with the boards I got. Ordered up 40 bf and got a bunch of beautiful 6 footers without cracks or warpage. I prefer to get it in the rough to save a little bit cuz I got a planer. this worked out just fine. I'll be back
