Cleats on a shooting board. Always performs well. I have used it fir this and knife handles. Any place requiring a very solid component.

a lot of sap wood not a lot of grain . Have purchased in the past and got good color and grain. Very disappointed with this piece

Received a beautiful chunk of bubinga for an award baseplate I'm machining. The tight grain is very contour friendly, and I had little to no edge chipping with my endmill. This stuff is hard, so make sure you have sharp tools! it looks nice in it's dry state, and with a quick wipe with alcohol to see what it looks like wet, WOW! It really pops.

Dear Robert, and Craig Yahoooo!!!!!!!! The order arrived!! Everyone on my street some 1400 excited friends and family gathered with unpresedented anticipation of the order you so meticulasly wrapped. There were parades, ballons and best of all cat juggling. Nearby mayport naval station even send a squadren of F-18's to do a fly over. Never before has ther been such a homecoming for the wood that would become the finished product to brighten up the life of the lucky and might I add blest wife in the form of her new end table. I could only wish that I could have been there for the glorious send off of my order as it left your facility. I'd have to imagine that it would have been like the lift off of Apollo 11 as it rocketed to the moon, or The Wright brothers first flight at Kiitty Hawk. I have imortalize the spot where THE PACKAGE touched the earth at ground zero arrival with a solid gold plaque fixed to a permitted sign for all to reflect on the moment for years to come. GREAT grain and unqiue exotic wood.

This is the first Bubinga I've ever even seen and it is beautiful. The order was well packaged and arrived quicker than I thought it would arrive and in very good condition. I plan to be back!

It's a truly grand piece of wood. I will be using some of it to turn pens and some of it will be used in intarsia projects.
