Great Alder
I ordered some 6/4 Alder to handle a fridge installation so I could match existing cabinets. I am very pleased with the Alder. The grain is fantastic and to my surprise there is minimal twist in a 7 foot piece.

Guitar body blank stock
WWS shipped the wood fairly quickly after my order. This piece of alder was 6' long and was packaged together with some 8/4 hard white maple I also ordered. The box was thrashed (by the shippers, not WWS), but it was well enough packaged, that my wood wasn't damaged. Still haven't done anything with the wood yet, but it looks like it will do what I need to do.
