Very good source for quality wood
I've used this in several furniture pieces (desks, tables, and dressers). It's really heavy, and I like that, and it's absolutely incredible with a finish. Especially the quarter sawn stuff from afotimber.com and yahh

Nice Wood, Met All My Expectations
I ordered 8/4 stock to use in certain areas of the chaise lounges I am building. The lumber I received was excellent quality and I had no trouble machining it into some beautiful arm rests and support posts for the lounges. Highly recommended, the only question is: what will I use it for next?

Made a table top
Pleasantly surprised by this wood in my coffee table project. It seemed to dull my table saw blade a bit thogh. I made sure I wore a respirator too, which is good to do anyway. Really liked the grain pattern and it took a poly finish easily. Looks wonderful.
