When the description says 5+ inches wide, it seems to mean 5-1/4 to 5-3/8, which meets the description. All the boards came with a good square edge on one side (which I suppose is why the "surface one edge" block is greyed out). One of the 72" boards had a slight twist, but in 8/4 lumber that can be worked out in my project, the other two were great.
