Hard but okay
Very durable and hard wood. Wish it was cheaper beacuase chechem looks great when it's all polished up.

Made a few picture frames out of this. And a large jewelry box 24" tall I built on commission for a client. It really is a striking wood and I loved the way it finished. I always use a respirator on all my woodworking, and chechm has a ripe smell so it probably not good for lungs. Beautiful stuff.
