Cradle for Grandchildren

Cherry Cradle for grandkids. All solid cherry. The only thing not done by hand were the spindles. This was my first project and I didn't have anything to turn them on. Posts are cherry 4x4's. Used a drill and hand chisels to make the groove for the swing. Backs are 5 pieces of 4/4 cherry glued and pinned; cut into shape with a bandsaw. Legs are solid cherry, glued and pinned to posts.

Finish: 6 Coats of Poly
