Lidded Box/Candy Dish

This is a Maple lidded box that was made by face-gluing several pieces of Hard Maple together and then turning and hollowing the blank on the lathe. The top handle was turned from a piece of wood given to me by a fellow woodworker: it could be Santos Mahogony, but I'm not completely sure. I finished this with a food-safe finish made for butcher block.

Finish: Bees Wax/Orange Oil mix
