Mini fridge cabinet

I'm retired and have chronic health issues including severe arthritis and several other factors that make bending over very difficult. We have a mini fridge in our sitting room that we use to keep beverages and snacks cold. It's very difficult for me to get things out of that fridge particularly on the bottom two shelves because I just can't reach them. For that reason I decided to build a cabinet that I could put the refrigerator on and add a little bit of storage as well. Hence this cabinet.

This is the first time that I have ever ordered lumber by mail. While the shipping costs are a bit pricey I was totally impressed with the quality of the lumber that I received. I had a lot of fun working with knotty alder and my wife and I are very pleased with the finished product.

Finish: Minwax espresso stain, three coats Minwax satin poly, finishing paste wax
