Heavy Cabinet

62 x 25” cabinet. Top is 71 x 35”. Two 2” Alder doors with 18th century patterned cast hardware. Drawers are reverse dovetailed at the customers request. All cuts made with hand tools with the exception of routing for the cabinet sides and back. Top is alternating 2” cherry and genuine mahogany. Separated down the middle for ease of movement. Pins are used to keep the center aligned like a table expansion. All bracing and drawer slides are mortise and tenon. No metal drawer slides. Floor is 1” cherry, legs are 3” ash, side and back panels are 3/8” baltic birch plywood. Live edge maple is used for the center support. The drawer handles are hand carved ash. 2 1/2 years to make working part time in my apartment.

Finish: Mohawk water based urethane, semi-gloss
