Trees for Cutting

I made a series of these tree-inspired cutting boards for Christmas a few years ago.My friend did the laser cutting for me. It was amazing to get nice crisp edges on the positive and negative cuimage cuts.It was fun to cut the images from 1/8 resawn stock, then build up a custom laminate base.The woods used are Black Walnut, Purple Heart, and Ash.The finish is sanded to 600 grit, and a hand rubbed cutting board oil. -- Orginally posted by BigB
