Pizza Peel
Chris never planned to make a pizza peel. It started as a leftover piece of cherry wood in his garage workshop—too small for furniture, too beautiful to waste. On a whim, he sketched a handle and traced a wide, thin paddle, imagining Sunday nights in the kitchen, sliding a bubbling pie from the oven.
He shaped it slowly, the curves smooth under his rasp, the grain glowing warm as he rubbed in the finish. No nails, no screws—just solid wood and intention. By the time he carved his initials into the back, it felt less like a tool and more like a tradition in the making.
That night, Chris made pizza. Not for sale. Not for show. Just for the joy of using something crafted by hand, from start to slice.
