Cookbook Stand

John Hilborn loved cooking, but he had one problem—he was always juggling between stirring a pot and holding his cookbook open. So, one day, he decided to fix that with a little creativity. He grabbed some sturdy wood from his workshop and crafted a simple yet elegant cookbook stand. He made sure it was adjustable, so it could hold even the thickest cookbooks without tipping over, and added a small lip at the bottom to keep pages from flipping in the breeze.

When it was finished, John placed his new stand on the kitchen counter, slipped his favorite cookbook into place, and grinned. No more spills from messy pages!

At his next dinner party, John proudly showed off his creation. “Check this out!” he said, opening the cookbook to a recipe. “No more trying to hold the book open while I’m cooking.”

His friends marveled at how practical it was—and how stylish! “This is genius!” his friend Lisa said, laughing. “You should sell these!”

From that day on, John’s cookbook stand became the unsung hero of every meal. No more flipping pages with greasy fingers, no more balancing the book precariously—just a sturdy, reliable stand that made cooking even more enjoyable. And every time John cooked, he’d glance at his stand and think, I’ve really outdone myself this time.
