Cutting Board

Tom had always been a fan of woodworking, but he never had much for fancy tools or expensive materials. One afternoon, while cleaning out his garage, he stumbled upon a pile of leftover wood scraps—small offcuts from old projects. Instead of tossing them out, an idea sparked in his mind. What if he could create something useful from these scraps?

He spent the next few hours carefully arranging the pieces, arranging them by color and grain. After sanding them smooth, he glued the pieces together, forming a patchwork of different woods. The result was a rustic yet beautiful cutting board—a perfect blend of practicality and creativity.

When he placed the cutting board on his kitchen counter, it felt like a small victory. The imperfections in the wood told a story of resourcefulness, and the unique pattern was a reminder of how something once considered waste could be turned into something new and useful. Every time Tom used the cutting board, it made him smile, knowing he had created something special from the scraps of his past projects.
