Tree of life

Leopard wood veneer is laminated to mdf substrate. Tree is made of engraved ceramic intentionally broken to create a look. Because tree parts were not flat, each piece had to be elevated with a spacer; this also adds depth. Edge is made of walnut, two solid single pieces, bent (not steamed first) and glued to the edge. Note 1/8" brass piece in top and bottom of edge to facilitate completing the loop.
