Fishing Rod Holder

The base is made of 3/4"red oak, 18" diameter. I used a 1 1/4 " x 48" dowel to connect a 12" diameter upper retainer. I used small diameter plugs to reinforce the dowel at the bottom and the top. This was a project I created for my son-in-law.

Finish: Early American stain and spray lacquer finish.
