Keepsake Box

Purchased canary wood on sale and the piece had a distinctive vein/grain. So, we decided to try and cut the sides of the box in a waterfall effect. Initially created a solid box, that was then cut on a table saw to create the lid. Incorporated, 1/4 inch thickness walnut and pine for lid. Framed the lid with pine splines to keep lid in place.
