Tractor, Trailer and Excavator

This is a set of Toys and Joys plans, an excavator, reverse gooseneck trailer and Western Star tractor.The project is made with maple, walnut and a bit of cherry.All parts milled and cut by hand with the exception of the wheels and a few other small parts.The tracks on the excavator work, the cabrotates 360 degrees, the boom, bucket and all hydraulic cylinders work.The goose neck can be removed from the trailer so that one can drive the excavator on.The fifth wheel on the tractor swivels to accept the trailer pin.The interior is detailed.There are removable covers on both the tractor and the excavator to hide that special treasure for a grandkid to find.All in all, a fun project requiring a great deal of patience and time to construct.For adult play only!:) -- Orginally posted by fuzzydicewoods
