Work Desk
Corey M built the work-from-home desk during a season when the world had slowed down, but his hands hadn’t. He needed a place to think, to work, to build—not just furniture, but momentum.
He chose ash for its clean grain and quiet strength. The legs were tapered just enough to lift the piece with grace, and he added a hidden drawer, lined with felt, for the little things—paperclips, a favorite pen, a moment of calm. Every edge was softened, every joint fitted with care. It wasn’t just about looks; it was about how it felt to sit down and begin the day.
When he finished, Corey slid his laptop into place, ran his fingers across the surface, and smiled. The desk didn’t just hold work. It held intention, space, and clarity.
Someone once asked him what made it different. He said, “It’s not just where you work. It’s where you find your rhythm.”
