Charcuterie
Reeni Knudson loved making things with her hands, especially when it involved wood and a little imagination. One day, she decided to craft a charcuterie board—not just any board, but one with a fun twist. She used a rich piece of cherry wood and shaped it with smooth curves, adding a little handle at one end so it could be carried easily. To make it extra special, she carved tiny stars along the edges, just for fun.
When the board was done, Reeni brought it to her friend Lily’s picnic. She loaded it up with cheeses, crackers, fruits, and a swirl of honey. Everyone gasped when they saw it. “This is too pretty to eat off of!” someone laughed.
But eat they did—every bite more delicious than the last. Kids grabbed grapes, grown-ups reached for cheese, and the board slowly cleared as the sun set. At the end of the evening, someone asked, “Where did you find that amazing board?”
Lily smiled. “Reeni made it.”
From that day on, the charcuterie board became a guest of honor at every gathering—a little piece of Reeni’s creativity that brought people together with snacks, smiles, and just a bit of magic.
