Charcuterie Plate

Megan was hosting her first dinner party, and she wanted to make a great impression. She decided on a simple yet elegant charcuterie plate to start the evening. With a small wooden board in front of her, she carefully arranged slices of creamy brie, sharp cheddar, and salty prosciutto. She added a few juicy grapes, a handful of almonds, and some crispy crackers.

The plate didn’t need to be anything extravagant—just a few thoughtfully chosen ingredients to set the tone for the evening. When her friends arrived, they admired the plate, appreciating its simplicity and beauty. They nibbled on the cheese and meats, dipping the crackers into small pots of honey and mustard, all while chatting and laughing.

Megan realized that it wasn’t about impressing anyone with a complicated dish—it was about sharing something simple and delicious. That little charcuterie plate, small and humble, became the perfect start to a memorable evening.
