The piece was inspired by a profoundly moving experience—Tom attended a presentation by a historical reenactor portraying Abraham Lincoln. As the actor delivered the Gettysburg Address with stirring conviction, the moment resonated so deeply that it brought Tom to tears. This powerful encounter with history served as the catalyst for his exceptional artistic tribute.
