Salt Cellar----never ever seen one till I saw one in a book

The picture had lift off lids so I was being smart and made them built in to the pole and made them swing out of the way when getting candy...since we never use salt except from a salt shaker...

This did take a lot of thinking as I went.

Thats a 3/8" metal rod down through the middle of the pole

I did use a 1 1/4" Ash wood dowel to start with so I didn't have to turn one to start with for the project
